It really aggravates me when the LGBT community complain about people making jokes or jabs at the fact they’re gay.
As long as it’s not malicious, why must you get so offended by light-hearted jokes? As long as it’s in good nature, there’s seriously no harm in it at all.
It’s because of people such as yourself that the LGBT community is scrutinized and people pick faults with us.
I can understand, especially youths, that this is a vulnerable time for you - I not long ago went through the same. Quite frankly though, it was because people were so normal about it that made me feel better, putting that pseudo-kindness and twisting it into something that is most likely not it’s intended purpose doesn’t seem like the right way to respond to this.
Am I the only one who thinks like this?
